Valerie is truly passionate about working with children and loves watching them grow. She has experience as a teacher working with various age groups, including Infant through School Age. These experiences, in addition to her educational background and perspective as a parent, allow her to provide the best possible care for the children and their families. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Early Childhood Education.
Carolann started her career in Mexico after completing her Bachelor's degree. There she worked as an English teacher at a middle school. After deciding to move back home and closer to family, Carolann started working in the field of early childhood education. She started as a two's teacher and quickly excelled at her job. She was promoted to program specialiast and eventually a center director within three years. Her experience and expertise are great assets to the West Carol Stream KinderCare.
Kelly has been working with KinderCare since 2006. She transferred to the West Carol Stream KinderCare from the Geneva East Center where she was the lead Infant teacher. Kelly studied Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Carthage College and Monmouth College. In 2011 she was blessed with her daughter who has shown Kelly a deeper appreciation and love for children. She truly loves her job and being able to spark the love of learning.
Ms. Lisa has been an employee with KinderCare Education since August 1990. She has her Associate's Degree in Child Care and Development. While growing up she enjoyed a lot of babysitting and with it, other fun and challenging experiences working with children. Her favorite thing about working with children is seeing them grow and learn new skills.
Ms. Trudy has worked for KinderCare for eleven years and has been at the West Carol Stream center for four years. She attended Tri-County College in South Carolina and studied Early Child Development. She recently earned her Child Development Associate's Credential. Ms. Trudy loves small group time, including singing songs and reading books. Watching their facial expressions as they participate in activities make it all worth it.
